Äntu Sinijärv is a lake in Lääne-Viru County, in Väike-Maarja Parish. The lake is located about 7 km south of Väike-Maarja.
It is Estonia’s clearest-water lake and, in limnological terms, an alkalitrophic lake. Water transparency is believed to reach up to 15 meters, even though the lake’s maximum depth is only 8 m. Powerful springs ensure this exceptional clarity. Because of these strong springs, the water temperature rarely rises much above 10–15°C even in summer.
