Guided Hike in the Ubari Landscape Conservation Area – with Cliff Scrambling
Want forest, sea, and a little “wow, that’s actually steep!” feeling? Then this experience is for you. In the Ubari Landscape Conservation Area, we’ll do a relaxed guided hike with safe cliff climbing woven in — with rope and guidance. Nature brings the views, you bring the adventure — and I’ll bring the nature stories (and, if needed, a small joke to take the edge off).
What’s waiting for you
-
a 4 km route and about 3.5 hours of pure “being outdoors” joy
-
varied terrain: sandstone steps → limestone outcrops
-
a fun “Indiana Jones, Estonia edition” moment: peeking into ancient sandstone caves
-
views of Kolga Bay and Rammu Island — the kind that politely erase your phone storage (in a good way)
-
a slice of 2,000-year-old heritage culture (yes, really!)
Who it’s for
-
families, friends, and work teams (active, but doable)
-
also great if you’re not a “climbing gym person” — this is a practical beginner-level adventure, not a record-chasing session
-
bonus: family-friendly and pet-friendly
Safety & gear
-
climbing is done under instructor guidance and with safety equipment (rope etc.)
-
you bring: weather-appropriate clothes, good footwear, drinking water (and curiosity)
