Accessible nature experience: Sensory Garden + mobility-aid-friendly forest trails

Come and enjoy nature at a pace that doesn’t need to be sporty and steps that don’t need to be long — what matters is that the experience is real. At Metsamõisa, you’ll find a Sensory Garden and accessible walking trails with hard surfaces and compacted gravel, comfortable to use with a wheelchair, rollator/walker, walking frame or walking sticks. Around you: forest, meadows and birdsong — and honestly, nature doesn’t ask what your “mobility mode” is today. 🙂

What’s waiting for you

  • Sensory Garden – a place where nature comes to you through sight, sound, smell, touch and taste.

  • Accessible nature trails – perfect for a calm stroll and for visitors using mobility aids.

  • Optional guided “nature wisdom” add-on (yes — you’ll learn why moss is basically the forest’s Wi-Fi).

Add more to your day (make it a full-day getaway!)

  • Pure Water Theme Park – an exciting, educational world where you’ll learn how clean groundwater forms and why water is the basis of life.

  • Glass kayak & transparent SUP – see into the water, not just where your paddle went.

  • Guided hikes on foot, with snowshoes or by bike; plus MOBO/mobile orienteering.

  • Disc golf, archery range, teepee, bee observation hive.

  • Hakkamasaaja / crisis readiness workshops (shelter, fire, tea or soup — real skills, real joy).

  • Accommodation in forest cabins, picnics and group catering (group discounts available).
