WOMEN’S DAY SNOWSHOE HIKE in Viru Bog — March 8 (BOOKING FEE €20)

Women’s Day is the perfect excuse to disappear to a place where your phone doesn’t ring, nobody asks “what are we eating today?”, and the only drama is whether you take your bog selfie from the left or the right. 😄

Join us for a cozy “bog-spa” hike: silence, views, a bit of fun, and of course a warm break.
Viru bog is basically a natural spa package—open views, calmness, shimmering pools… and we add hot tea + mini pancakes. 😄☕🥞

Location: Viru Bog (meeting by the observation tower)

Duration: ~3 hours
Snowshoe distance: 1.5–2 km
Break: on a bog island (where tea always tastes better)

Suitable from age 8+. For younger kids, we’ll decide together—this is not the place for the classic “maybe it’ll work” experiment. 😉

We explore bogs with about 2,500 people every year—so yes, we know where it’s beautiful, where it’s interesting, and where it’s smarter not to “test your luck.” 😄

🌿 What we’ll do

• Enjoy the view from the observation tower (a real “wow”, not a polite one)

• Explore bog lakes, pools and plants—why a bog is like a living science lab

• Peek into the tiny world with a smartphone microscope: photograph/film mosses, plants, water surfaces etc. 🔬📱

• Walk at a safe, comfortable pace—on Women’s Day we don’t race, we enjoy

1–2 adults: €80 / person
3–4 adults: €50 / person

Children 8–12: -50%
Multiple groups total 25+ people: -10%

🐺 “Wolf-wheel” challenge on snowshoes: -30%
(only safely and with the guide’s approval—bogs love common sense, not heroes 😄)

🧾 Booking & payment

📌 Booking fee €20 is paid online — it locks in your spot.
The booking fee is non-refundable if you don’t show up without a valid reason.
💳 The remaining amount is paid before the hike, by invoice or cash on site.

🎒 What to bring

• Weather-appropriate clothing (layers + wind/rain protection)

• Waterproof hiking boots (bogs always have “a bit of water”—it’s part of the character)

• If your shoe size is over 45, please tell us when booking

• Optional thermos/cup (tea is provided—your own cup is a nice bonus)
