Wildlife Wisdom Forest Hike with a Nature Guide
Have you ever wondered who passed through the forest before you during the night – and what they were doing there? The Wildlife Wisdom Hike is a guided adventure where you learn to read the forest’s “correspondence”: tracks, trails, feeding sites, burrows, and other signs of animal activity.
In a clear and engaging way, with a touch of humor, we explain how humans have influenced the balance of nature, and why and how wildlife populations are sometimes deliberately managed. You will also gain a clear understanding of the role of hunters – without moralizing, simply through the joy of becoming wiser.
We take a walk through the forest and also examine trophies – such as antlers, tusks, and skins – to learn how to distinguish species and understand what story each find can tell.
This hike is suitable for families with children, groups of friends, and work teams. The hike is available by advance booking in Harju County (Kuusalu Parish, Kaberla) or in Lääne-Viru County (Metsamõisa, Tapa Parish, Järsi). Put on comfortable boots and join us – the forest “speaks” more than you might think.
